2. Consumer rights (UK)
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other UK law. Nothing in these terms affects those rights where the law says they cannot be limited. Business customers may have different rights.
3. Table reservations
Submitting a reservation request through our website does not guarantee table availability. A booking becomes valid and confirmed only after you receive confirmation from Moisei via email or telephone.
Table reservation rules in the restaurant
- Large group bookings (8+ guests): For bookings of 8 or more guests, you will be offered a banquet menu at £110 per person. It includes 7 cold dishes and 4 hot dishes, and you may bring your own alcoholic and soft drinks in any quantity under that banquet arrangement.
- Changes & menu: All changes to guest numbers or the menu must be agreed no later than one hour before the reservation time.
- Unforeseen circumstances: The restaurant may change booking terms where reasonably necessary, provided you are informed in advance.
- Dress code & conduct: The restaurant may refuse entry or ask you to leave if the smart casual dress code is not observed, or if you appear intoxicated by alcohol or drugs.
- Outside drinks: Except when covered by the banquet menu for groups of 8+ (see above), bringing and consuming your own alcoholic or soft drinks on the premises is strictly prohibited.
- Lost property: The restaurant is not responsible for lost personal belongings.
- Children: Please supervise your children while you are on the premises.
- No-shows & late arrival: If guests do not arrive within 30 minutes of the booking time and have not told us they are running late, management may cancel the table reservation.
Lounge area reservation rules
- Operating hours: The lounge area is open until 22:30.
- Hookah: When you book a table in the lounge, ordering a hookah is mandatory. If you decline, a hookah will be added to your bill automatically.
- Children: Children are not permitted in the lounge area.
- Dress code & conduct: The restaurant may refuse entry or ask you to leave if the smart casual dress code is not observed, or if you appear intoxicated by alcohol or drugs.
- No-shows & late arrival: If guests do not arrive within 30 minutes of the booking time and have not told us they are running late, management may cancel the table reservation.
4. Cancellations & no-shows
Customers are requested to notify the restaurant as early as possible in case of cancellation. This allows us to offer the table to other customers.
- For cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance when possible
- Repeated no-shows without prior notice may result in refusal of future reservations
- Special events or large group bookings may have specific cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking
5. Allergies & dietary requirements
Customer safety is our priority. Customers are solely responsible for:
- Informing restaurant staff of any food allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions that may affect their dining experience
- Providing accurate and complete information about dietary requirements at the time of booking and upon arrival
- Asking questions about menu ingredients if uncertain
Moisei is not responsible for allergic reactions or adverse health effects where no prior notification was given. While we take precautions to accommodate dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee that our kitchen is completely free from allergens due to shared preparation areas.
6. Menu & pricing
- Menu items, availability, and prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice
- Online menus are for guidance only and may not always reflect real-time in-restaurant availability
- Prices displayed are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable
- Special offers, promotions, and discounts are subject to terms and conditions and may be withdrawn at any time
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue menu items without notice
7. Customer behaviour
We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all our customers and staff. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer in cases of:
- Aggressive, abusive, or threatening behaviour
- Intoxication or substance abuse
- Safety concerns or risk to other customers or staff
- Violation of house rules or restaurant policies
- Any behaviour that disrupts the dining experience of other customers
In such cases, customers may be asked to leave immediately, and no refund will be provided.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moisei shall not be held responsible for:
- Loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises
- Booking misunderstandings or communication errors
- Website or email technical failures
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental losses or damages
- Any loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
